It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.
Ursula K. Le Guin, The Left Hand of Darkness
Wow, what a journey it has been! It has been a very long time since I have last written and published an article. This has been due to tech issues, but more so school and a new full-time job. Add in this whole coronavirus mess and having to work from home again ( I am not complaining) and the issues that come with the coronavirus related to my ob (ok, complaining a little bit) and you have a topsy-turvy world! On the flip side, I have learned a lot more about myself and starting to really get a handle on my new schedule and I couldn’t be any happier.
But, enough about me for a second. How’s everyone doing out there? I hope you all are being safe? Is anyone traveling at the moment, on lockdown or what? What’s going on? Well, I did do a little traveling two weeks ago to New Orleans before they started closing things down. It definitely was a different trip, but it was not a total bust. While I wasn’t able to explore how I wanted and get to go to certain places I still had fun and got to get away, especially after a hectic work week. I will explain more in another post.
I mainly just wanted to jump on here today to give a small idea about what has been going on on my end and to remind people to take time for themselves and remember to do things that they love, even in a small way in these times, especially during these times. Stay safe out there and take care!
Thank you for reading! Take care.
